Meeting point

We'll meet at Mitcham Junction Station, in the car park on the north side. Meet at 10:15 in order to head off at 10:30.

The route

The plan is to head across Mitcham Common, and make our way to the Wandle Trail. From there, we'll follow the river as it winds its way through Merton, Earlsfield and towards Wandsworth. The route is around 16km, and mainly on trail and dirt paths with a few short sections on roads. It's very flat, with less than 30m descent over the whole route.

The pace

Pace will be fairly flexible on the day depending on weather and who's there, but we'll likely have a number of pace groups including 5:15-5:30/km and 5:45-6:00/km. If you'd like to lead another pace group, post a comment!

Pickup point/shorter route option

We will have a pick-up and regroup point after 6km at the Surrey Arms, CR4 4DD, anyone wanting to do a 10km run instead is welcome to join there.

The pub

Post-run we will be heading to The King's Arms in Wandsworth for food and drinks!

Look forward to seeing everyone then! Any issues, please give us a call or drop us a text.
