Turning over a new leaf pile 🍂

Despite another warm and muggy evening, 9 flipping awesome GoodGymers ran and joined Laura at Tottenham Green.

After a quick litter pick, Frankie and Latoya collected hollyhock seed heads, and Natasha, Sam, Alex, Nurjehan, Julie and Dave got to work collecting leaves (that have fallen early) from the paths.

This is degrading… In order to help all the leaves biodegrade into compost, we all helped to flip a big leaf pile that GGH previously worked on. This also helped to reveal some ready-to-use mulch beneath the old leaf pile. Bonus!

GoodJig Before we called it a night, Dave created a mosh pit for one amongst the leaves to help squish them down a bit and prevent the leaves flying away (avoiding squishing the big spiders of course!)

• We were pleased to be joined by Frankie and Natasha after a little break from GoodGym because of life!

• Dave had an outfit change halfway through our run - starting the evening with smart work shoes, and then changing to a more casual trainer look for lots of jumping.

• AA Gramps was off this week, but still organised one of our favourite tasks and even checked up on us and wished us well even while on holiday. Thanks!

• Baby Gramps is running the Ultra Trail Mont Blanc this week and we wish him well! The rest of the Gramps family is out there supporting him and we hope they have a lovely time out there. (…Although one GoodGymer was reportedly heard saying they “didn’t even notice Gramps was missing”!! 😮)
