5 GoodGymers helped the Foss Fairy Trail by laying bark chip along the path to make it less muddy. We arrived to find a huge pile of bark chip which we had to wheelbarrow quite a way down the trail to the far end of it. Leanne shovelled the bark chip into the 3 barrows where they were relayed down the path by Louise, Cara, Tay and Laura and raked onto the path at the end. Louise and Tay even had some energy left over from parkrun to run with them. An hour and a half later we'd made a bit of a dent in it and had laid bark chip on a long stretch of path, covering some of the muddiest sections. By that time the number of us tired and limping had increased so we helped take the barrows and tools back to the shed before finishing. Louise had a problem with one of the nuts coming off the wheelbarrow wheel but luckily we found it and Leanne was able to do a temporary fix.

Thank you so much ladies!! It was a big task, such a long way to go with the wheelbarrows!! You did an amazing job as always!!!! I've managed to get some of the trail volunteers together to have another go at the woodchip pile this morning :-)
