It's all happening at the moment and it's not just the nation's response to the pandemic, or the marvelous response to the new GoodGym missions, which by the way I must add our members have been doing amazing things up and down the country showing everyone what GoodGym is all about.

On 15th May, we will be 4 years old, to mark the occasion we kicked it off with a virtual run from Lands End to John O'Groats (LEJOG), our journey started on 4th May and is expected to end on 4th June. Last week we covered 290 miles of the 874 that is required to get there. Do check out our twitter page and give us a wave as we run through the many different GoodGym Areas.

Next up was our mass zoom fitness session yesterday where we were supported by members from, Bromley, Lewisham, Southwark, Newham, Harringey, Barnet, Colchester Coventry and Livepool. (apologies if I missed out anyone's area let me know and I will make amendments)

Prior to me leading the Croydon Group, it was led by the lovely Juliet, her contacts and systems she had put in place in the first two years still helps me two years on, thank you Juliet. As a thank you yesterday's session was designed off the alphabet exercise picture spelling Juliet's name, with a couple additions. I was going to ask Paul Gray to spell her name but I thought better of it as he would have gotten it wrong and we'd probably still be exercising. Well done to Pauland Charlotte our plank hold king and queen, damn they have core strength, they held the plank for over 180 seconds.

Massive thanks to Tav (GoodGym Colchester) for the squat/press up challenge and to Paul (GoodGym Barnet) for that great cool down and stretches yoga session.

at one point I might have not worked hard enough on the floor, the dog was in my way (member's identity protected)

I especially enjoyed one of the yoga stretches, it felt so nice on the back of my knees, can you pass on my thanks. Magda

Thanks Croydon! It’s the first Zoom workout I’ve done and I really enjoyed it (though Sally Up/Down is definitely not my friend today!!). Happy Birthday for next week 🙃
