SADLY THE SOUTHBANK CENTRE HAVE HAD TO CANCEL THIS SESSION DUE TO THE WOMEN OF THE WORLD FESTIVAL TAKING PLACE THIS WEEKEND. THE SESSION WILL NOT BE HAPPENING.

Following on from Wednesday's group run in Camden the guys from Grounded Ecotherapy have asked GoodGym back to help them with an extra special project.

They are planning to make a new fernery for New Zealand Ferns up in the Southbank Centre atrium. As part of the project they wish to create pathways through the garden, using bricks taken from the River Thames.

The task will involve gathering bricks on the shore at low tide, some of which would have been in the river for decades or longer and then take these bricks up to the atrium. You'll be getting the chance to become garden designers for the afternoon and will be an integral part of creating what promises to be a spectacular space.

Please arrive at the bottom of the yellow staircase on the Southbank, exactly opposite the Festival Pier river bus stop. This is in between the area under the Southbank Centre used by skateboarders and the row of restaurants and shops. Please see this map for exact location.

Low tide is from 1pm - 2pm which is when we will be able to collect stones from the river.

Please arrive at 12.30pm for a briefing at 12.45pm. There will be no space to store heavy bags at the tasks so please come ready to work!
