We had a quick run on the ridge to MVF, what a gorgeous September evening too! Our tasks included the infamous compost turning, filled with the best convos and strategic layering of courgette leaves, compost and hay; some might say it was lasagne-esque. We also trimmed more courgette leaves and cleared tomato plants ready for more spring onions to be planted.
Our Laura has done 200 tasks (yay, well done Laura!) what an achievement! Jason gifted her with a bright, flower garland.
Our Sarah starts filming her film on Sunday! We can’t wait for it to come out on Netflix. Popcorn at the ready! Until next week :)

On Saturday, Helen & I headed to Swillington Wilds for a lovely swim and sauna in the sun. Who a gorgeous place.

Yes we can!
Last night the team got a great workout digging soil, moving it around ans creating a clear path at Bedford Fields. The rest of us weeded the beds. It was a great atmosphere as usual, with lots of chat & fun along the way.
Welcome to Mary who joined us last night.

Five GoodGymers made their way down to The Attic for a big evening of Ceilidh dancing. Jubz made a big dumb by arriving an extra hour early because he put it into his diary wrong.
Regular Erica invited us all down and the four of us had a great time as newbies. All the attendees were really friendly and happy to dance with each other, strangers were all close friends for the night despite how sweaty we all got
What a gem of a place and activity, we are all dying for next month's session which is on Friday 25th September, we've only started buying tickets before they sell out again!

Tonight was the only Wednesday of the year that we didn't do a task, as we celebrated with our summer social instead. We headed to Beckett Park for a game of rounders which everyone enjoyed and Alice led a game of tag...which was absolutely exhausting!! Joao, Alice & Billy were 'on' and did a good job, but eventually we wore them out!
We cancelled our picnic as rain was forecast (even though it didn't materialise), so we headed to the pub & ordered some very questionable pizza. Was it toast or was it pizza...who knew?!
Thanks for a great night all.

Eleven GoodGymers headed to Bedford Fields this evening for weeding and tidying to paths and beds. We also spotted the apples were ripe for eating and the mulberry bush was begging us to find the darkest, sweetest berries. How could we refuse...
