For today's mission, I was supporting Mr A with grocery shopping. The main items on the list were quite specific: four salmon steaks and two cod fish steaks. I headed out into what can only be described as a proper British downpour — it was raining cats and dogs!
Once at the shop, I managed to find the four salmon steaks without any trouble. However, the cod was a bit more elusive. They didn't have any individual cod steaks available, only large fillets, which wasn't quite what Mr A had requested. To be safe and ensure he got exactly what he needed, I decided to stick with just the salmon rather than making a guess on the size of the fillet.
Despite getting a bit soaked on the way back, I delivered the fresh salmon to Mr A. He was very grateful for the help, and I was happy to get his essentials to him despite the weather. Now, time for me to dry off and warm up!

On a cold Monday evening Samina , Tabitha, Kamil and John met in Willesden . We warmed up and then ran just over 3KM to Abbey Road Community Centre.
Pete, Lee and Beatriz started a friendly game of table tennis whilst waiting for our arrival, starting the serves with a smile . Once all together Jason gave us 100 leaflets advertising their childrens services and repair shop .
We walked to the nearby tower block and split into three teams and divided the floors between us. In no time at all we had delivered the leaflets to all 20 floors, ensuring the local residents are aware of Abbey Roads services .
With a job well done we made our way home , with a stop off at the pub for some of us , and lots of smiles all round .

Tabitha, Samina, Chris, and Beatriz gathered at Brent Mencap ready to rock. But before we could even flex a muscle, Beatriz set the bar high with a random act of kindness. A local homeless man asked for a specific refreshment, and Beatriz—being the absolute legend she is—popped next door to buy him a pint of Guinness. Talk about a stout-hearted start to the evening!
We had grand designs to get ripped tonight—both physically (with a HIIT session) and literally (shredding paper). However, our plans were cut short. A miscommunication meant the office with the shredders was locked tight, and the room we planned to exercise in was currently being cleaned. It was almost a tear-able situation, but we didn't let it fold us.
Not ones to cry over spilt milk (or locked doors), we raided the kitchen instead. We scrubbed the sides until they sparkled and emptied the dishwasher, which was a plate relief for the staff. We also tackled the inside of the fridge—it was a chilling experience, but someone had to do it.
Chris took charge of the floor duties; he really sucked it up and hoovered every inch of the carpet until the dust bit the dust.
We departed feeling virtuous, but the drama wasn't over. Chris had to make a quick dash back inside because he forgot his phone—talk about a close call! We finished the night at the pub across the road, because after all that cleaning, we definitely deserved to get served.
