Join us at St Pancras International station about 9:45, and we'll catch the 10:04 train to Dover. You can also pick up that train at Stratford International (10:12) or Ebbsfleet (10:23). Or get a train from Charing Cross, Waterloo East or London Bridge and meet us at Dover Priory station at 11:15
The walk is a moderately challenging 15-16 km hike, beginning with a climb from Dover to the top of the famous White Cliffs, offering spectacular views of the English Channel
The trail features varied landscapes, including open downland, the unique Samphire Hoe Chalk Marl park, and many coastal views, finishing near Folkestone Harbour.
We'll stop for food and drink at Folkestone. The narrow, cobbled, sloped Old High Street was one of Charles Dickens' favourite streets and is now at the heart of Folkestone's Creative Quarter. This part of Folkestone is full of independent businesses and restaurants, surrounded by colourful restored buildings.
