Seven GoodGymers including first timer to GoodGym , Chris and first timers to Thorlands, Claire and Zeina came along for a spot of gardening in this mixed Spring and Winter like conditions.

We had several tasks that required attention from what we started on Wednesday evening with the group run.

On the far end of the Forest Garden by the Walled garden, we had Lucie and Zeina tackling the bindweed that looked dead, but was still very much alive!

In the middle, Lindy and Chris took on the corner and the area by the wall to dig out all the green bits and roots then they turned over the soil.

Finally, on the terrace, Claire, Michael and Sam cleared all the moss, soil and leaves off the terrace before venturing to putting down more cupboard and mulch near the bench area.

The hour and a half was embraced with a lovely sunshine, but bitterly cold winds. Still great conditions to continue on the garden project! Until next Saturday, have a great weekend!
