Well, well, well. That started out badly!

We met at the Old Factory raring to go and help deliver leaflets for FoodCycle. However, the weather had different ideas! After a prolonged discussion to try and let the rain run it course (unsuccessfully) we determined that people would not appreciate moist leaflets being posted through their doors and this could potentially impact on FoodCycle's fantastic reputation. Instead we opted to do what we do 'best': Run!

Joel peeked out the doorway at the lashing rain and dived out. Andy ran straight for his car, don't worry, he did come back! We all got absolutely drenched as we headed up towards the university. As we headed to the Avenues the Sun began to pop out and the rain subsided slightly. What a treat! It never rains at GoodGym but clearly they got the message just a bit too late. We ran up and down the avenues and posed by a dilapidated boat which for some reason appears to be holding a house up... We chatted about Jenny's house buying, and planned another social. We are going to see if they still do a pub quiz at the Ale House or may hit up the Golden Fleece again. Will keep you posted.

As we got back it turned into quite a nice evening really, we posed for a photo, chatted about Tav - our new Area Activator - and headed on our way. Russell flaunted his dinner/ lunch to us via WhatsApp and we eagerly wait to hear from Rachel how her future Toby Carvery vegetarian meal exploits go...
