Last night, 6 awesome GoodGymers swooped in to lend a hand to Baby Godiva with Nigel and Lil armed with much-needed donations for Clothing Coventry. We dove right into sorting baby clothes and whipped up some adorable baby packs for expectant mums including all the things you might need for those little bundles of joy. By the end, we'd made serious progress, setting things up perfectly for the regular volunteers to keep the momentum going. Teamwork at its finest!
Big shout out to Nigel, who just hit the 50 good deeds milestone last night! You’ve earned yourself a slick black t-shirt, Nigel! Head over here to claim your prize and wear it with pride: https://www.goodgym.org/my/tshirts.

The 3 of us enjoyed a glorious sunny morning helping out at Springboard allotments.
Nigel snipped back the artichoke while James and Laura sorted out the jungle of weeds surrounding the leeks.
Nigel and Laura's visit was short and sweet but we made the most of the time we were there. James stayed until the end where the volunteers gather for a chat, drinks and snacks.
We look forward to the next visit

On arrival I met Mrs A who was lovely. She doesn’t get out much so I said she could either stay warm in the house or that I’d move a chair so she could sit and watch me outside. Mrs A chose the later so I popped a chair by her front door so we could chat whilst I got the job done.
I’m the past Mrs A loved tending to her garden so it’s a shame that’s she is no longer able to manage it.
It was all looking a bit overgrown and I managed to trim quite a bit back but didn’t get as much done in the time as I’d have liked to.
It was lovely to get to know about Mrs A a bit and she seemed to really enjoy the company as sadly she doesn’t get many visitors and can’t really leave the house due to her being unsteady on her feet.
As you can see from the pictures, I did make some headway but there is definitely more that needs doing.
All in all a very pleasant and rewarding morning!

She will be able to walk out her home safely especially as it is getting darker.
