Janet,Caprice and Daryl meet at the Brewhouse and ran the 3.5K to the task through the Gardens which was really nice as it was a nice sunny evening .Once at the task we were meet by Neil its been a long while since we have been back at Bishop Aldhelms School,Neil tiold us where the others where so we walked round the school to the Reflection Garden where Chole and James where they were painting the wooden benches (James must like painting two days running hes had the paint brushes out).Paul was cutting back the over hanging branches, we were told what needed to be done so the three of us set to work and we soon had the garden looking ship shape again Neil was really pleased with the work we had done. We all said our good byes and headed off Caprice,Janet and Daryl ran back through the Gardens to the Triangle .Dont leave it so long Paul we miss you.Tell next time Daryl

Eleanor and Daryl the legends met for the group run and Katie and Caprice made their own way to the session. Katie still recovering from a car accident and Caprice just a snotty mess. Hopefully it won't be long until they are back in action! They were met by caretaker Neil who showed them an area at the back of the school where he had already been cutting back an apple tree. The mission was to clear a large vegetable patch so that the children could get to work prepping a new vegetable patch. Firstly the guys got to work pulling out the weeds then armed with spades and forks they turned the soil. It didn't take long to complete the mission. Neil was grateful for their assistance and I'm sure it won't be long before GoodGym can help him again. The evenings are now getting darker so dust off those head-torches and reflective running gear! Caprice,Neil, and Daryl met at the Brewhouse in the Triangle and had a nice evening through Bournemouth gardens to Bishop Aldhelms school on the way we were pasted by Lea and Keith on there Bikes {it was nice that they could make the task as there plans has changed}. On arrival we were meet by Neil the Site Manager who showed us the area which needed painting which is the quiet garden where the children can go and reflect.We sanded down the Benches and the raised beds and the cross {as its a church school they have a cross in the garden} we soon had all the sanding done so we set too and started to Paint all that we had sanding in a grey outside wood paint .We soon had this done we thanked Neil for the task as we love painting and said our goodbyes Caprice and Daryl ran back to the Triangle Neil ran a short distance with us then turned off to run home Lea and Keith headed home on there bikes. Today's mission was to help paint a playground wall ready for a new mural. The rain clouds couldn't deter these GoodGymers from their Misson to help Neil at Bishop's Aldhelm's School. Daryl got to work cutting back the hedge, Hannah sweeping up the mess and Caprice helped Neil brush the wall ready for the first coat of paint. Once the wall was prepped, everyone got to work painting and it didn't take long until the wall was covered. A very grateful Neil thanked the gang and they then headed home. I'm sure that GoodGym will be back to help him with some other projects so watch this space.

Lea,Caprice,Keith and Daryl Meet at Bishop Aldhems Primary School to paint a fence We meet the school Caretaker,we then split into two groups Lea and Keith started scraping the fence to get all the growth off whilst Daryl and Caprice started to paint the fence we where soon making good progress and had the job completed the Headmaster and the Caretaker where pleased with our work and thanked us for our hard work see you all at the next task Daryl

Paul, Keith and Lea turned up at Bishop Aldhelm just after the rain stopped. Oh good, as the task entailed cleaning SOME windows... Well actually we stopped counting at 200!!! Never realised before how many sides the school building has. Every time we turned a corner, there were more windows and more windows. Luckily we got to the end just as it was getting too dark to see. And with these sparkling clean windows, the kids will certainly need sunglasses tomorrow!
