Although Claire arrived bang on time, myself and John (having arrived early) had already done the lion's share of the task. However, we had saved her a few chairs to be put out! After a slight adjustment to one of the tables to allow wheelchair access, we were done and dusted in around 15 minutes.

We are back in the main church area as the toddlers group reclaim their space after the summer break. All change again as long tables replace square ones and large red armchairs replace stacking chairs. Red chairs are heavy but glide on felt feet which makes life easier for us and for the beneficiaries.

Myself and Christine were asked for a slight change in the setup this week. Long tables were required with short tables put next to them to make even longer tables. The heavy chairs were arranged around the tables and we were done in no time. Things may change again next week!

Congratulations to Barbara for completing 800 tasks! Fabulous work, effort & commitment. Once more the furniture was shuffled about to accommodate the older people attending today's club. Followed by some silly attempts at trying to look like chairs but unfortunately our knees weren't quite up to that task! 🤣 DCCC - Day Care Chairs Configured or Roman numerals for 800 - take your pick.

2 🚴‍♀️ got off their bikes to set up the chairs & tables ready for the games to begin. whilst multi tasking (does chatting count?) this much appreciated task was speedily completed.
