Boozing down Bland Lane

York Report written by York runner

Five hi-viz GoodGym Yorkies met on a cold but bright Thursday morning for a litter pick. Bland Lane is a hotspot for litter, especially bottles of alcohol (mostly vodka) and drinks cans and today didn't disappoint. After only 35 minutes we'd collected a whopping 10 bags of very heavy rubbish - with a water pistol included! We left the area looking so much better and were thanked by several passers-by.

♫ Litter Green Bag ♫

York Report written by Mitch

We took to Chapelfields to help clear up some of the litter that has accumalated there. Due to the ice, a lot of the rubbish was welded into the ground. However we managed to clean up 5 bags worth on one street, and will definitely be back there.

Winner for strangest litter goes to Claire and her massive lego!
