Emily just completed a six month streak of doing missions. That’s so many bags of garden rubbish cleared and jobs done to help someone out and put a smile on their face. Give Emily a cheer to encourage them to keep up the good work.

Rolling in the dip
Don't take tou lon
it was great to have a new charity to support in Worthing. We were especially grateful for an inside task as it was pouring with rain!
Sonya, a contact of Emily from Centre for Sight was so welcoming to us as she outlined the painting of a meeting room in a very attractive colour called Toulon.
Emily and I were on masking tape duty (very dubious skill on my part as others will vouch for! ) before Emily moved to painting
Rosalind andPaula took the cutting in whilst Paul and Lucy took on the rollering.
1 hour 15 minutes later and we finished 95% of the first coat. Excellent work 👏 Next week we will finish the job including some glossing.
Hope to see you all then!

Wicked Wednesday
It was pure pleasure tonight for our mid week GoodGym fix.
We approached the Sidney Walter Centre from all angles tonight but joined together for some team weeding of the frontage of the building.
Jemmie set the standard kept us busy and on our toes with her adorable comments , giggles and gymnastic moves!
45 minutes later with the debris in the green bin we all disappeared back in the direction that we came.
See you all Monday at St Botolphs

Weeding at Sydney Walter Centre

Meet at Splashpoint by the rowing club on the seafront.
We will do a gentle run/walk up to the Sidney Walter Centre to do some weeding surrounding the edges of the building before enjoying a slightly extended route back to the start point taking in some sea views.

The Worthing Wall
On day 4 John smashed out a wall sit 40 seconds longer than his first one on Tuesday . What a shining example of just how good these challenges are !
Fast forward to my zoom session and Emily, Barbara, Louise, Paula and myself were in fine spirits for our marathon effort.
Everybody improved above and beyond previous days ( despite the dead legs from various previous workouts for us all) leaving tomorrow being us confronting the final wall !

The Wednesday wind down
It was a pure delight to host our regular lockdown Wednesday stretch and relax session this evening.
As well as my regular participants Emily, Emma and Paula, it was so nice to be joined by Julia from Redbridge and Sara from Windsor and Maidenhead.
With warmth and good vibes we settled in to the session in which we focused on lengthening our hamstrings, gently twisting our spines, coaxing our core back, squeezing our glutes and relaxing with some drop knee rotations and full body stretch.
Feeling chilled out and over the hump of the week we all waved goodbye until next time.
