I don't know how many parkruns start with bucket and spades but Southsea does!

While the event set up team filled the buckets with stones to set up the start and finish areas, other marshals signed in and donned their hi viz vests. Catherine checked in for her 100th good deed and got to wear the wings whilst taking pics.

Seagulls showed what they thought of the lack of snacks by pooing on Aoife's phone and a bit of her, which may explain why she had a bit of trouble uploading the results at the end!

Rachel celebrated her birthday weekend by volunteering and running. Happy birthday Rachel!

It was a calm and still day so there were loads of runners out chasing PBs with a high percentage of them taking the time to give a thumbs up or a thank you.

Happy parkrunday everyone!

Next parkrun takeover is at Great Salterns on 29th January. followed by a second good deed. And then maybe a coffee afterwards too!
