Lets “rock” and “forward roll” and then get "hammered" at virtual eats
20 GoodGymers made their way to have an amazing time in Bristol.

Not even a pandemic with lockdown will stop Goodgym meeting up and getting “hammered” at their monthly eats. After a few technical glitches, Russian Rich the Almighty admitted people into the online restaurant of Zoom. The guestlist featured Dinosaur Tamer Caroline, Marathon Laura, Alex and her Two Heads, and Darth Vader. Steph from Goodgym Bath made a guest appearance and demonstrated her finest forward roll in the garden. Russ was there in spirit as seen in photographic evidence, and it was great seeing Shree back on UK soil.
The menu of various takeaway and home cooked meals featured an array of dishes including cauliflower risotto, sweet potato with feta, cauliflower dahl, frozen brownie and pizza for dessert! At various points throughout the meal, challenges were set to find props from the house as quick as possible. What started with an innocent cuddly toy or house plant ended in what looked like a scene from Psycho with everyone yielding the biggest and sharpest knife they could find. Social isolation is clearly already taking its toll on Goodgym!
It was a fun evening, and great to catch up with each other!
Let’s all stay home and safe as much as possible, and maybe next month’s eats will be in a real restaurant. But if not, then the Zoom restaurant is the place to be!
