This morning an infinite amount of GoodGymmers turned up to volunteer at Highbury Fields' junior parkrun.

And we really were legion: we completely filled the marshal roster, performed time keeping and barcode scanning duties, ran a warm up session (including a random chant at the end to the effect that everyone was parkrun ready), tail walked (including all of the tail wiggling duties), and funnel managed (which you know is an important job because the role has "manager" in the title 😎). Great stuff!

We'll probably be volunteering at a few more junior parkruns in the near future. This is because more stringent safety requirements have recently come in that increase the number of marshals needed for junior events and some existing events will need a little time to build up their regular volunteer base.
