GG Cheer Squad (York 10k)

8 GG Yorkies met at Millenium Bridge on a hot sunny Sunday. 5217 runners had signed up for the York 10k and we were determined to cheer them on.

We started on Bishy Rd at the 1km point. So many smiles and high fives. Then we relocated to the midpoint of Millenium Bridge, waving our flag and clapping enthusiastically. We cheered Loz, Alex, Tom, Lindsay, Tim, Carl, Paul Kelly, Laura, Amy, Mel, Jackie, Maddy, Bev, Helen, Rose, and John.

Once the final runner was over the bridge, we congratulated ourselves for doing such great clapping and cheering, to ice cream from the floating ice cream barge!
