Last night's task was just in time for Halloween - the case of the disappearing shed.

Cultivate London are shortly to be the proud recipients of a brand new shed and greenhouse courtesy of B&Q, but before that could happen they needed to dispose of the old buildings.

Luckily they could call on not one but two GG groups. On Tuesday Kash's fabulous Ealing crew came and swiftly dispatched with the greenhouse. When we arrived last night we knew we had a hard act to follow as there was precisely zero evidence of there ever having been a greenhouse there in the first place.

So we quickly got to work, forming ourselves into a human chain (hooray) with Michelle and Chris at the shed end and Emily and Eloise at the far end stacking up stacking up the contents, and everybody else working hard in between.

Out came old bits and pieces, drippy things, spiky, big and high things, and not an insignificant number of spiders. Within minutes the shed was empty, so it was time for the fun part - the sledgehammer!

The team took turns whacking, thwacking and generally destroying the now defunct shed, and at the same time expelling the tensions of the day. Meanwhile, a fleet of trolleys were being transported back and forth from a huge skip. It truly was a proper work out.

By the end of the evening what was there to show for all this hard work? Absolutely nothing. And that was exactly the aim of the game! All that was left was a cleanly swept area and the perfect space for a brand spanking new shed.

If that successful task has just left you wanting more, then why not sign up for this lovely power session on Sunday planting snowdrops where a few more helping hands would be very welcome.

Great job everybody!
