Another week and a return to the Samye Fundation to continue the painting of their new gazebo. After last week we knew what had to be done and so quickly cleared the space and got to the task at hand, Martin, Nic and Jade finished off the lattice, Sophie and our newest member John started on the roof beams whilst Mikey made his way behind the fence panels to paint the back of them.

Welcome to GoodGym Cardiff John, we hope to see you again soon.

After a small chatter about Christmas decorations and trees it was decided that some lovely festive music would make the work go faster, so Mikey pulled out his phone and started the playlist.

It was a very chatty hour and a half today, Lorraine popped out to say hi from time to time and brought us a lovely treat of tortilla chips, dips and mince pies. Most people left but Mikey stayed for a bit more of a chat with Lorraine and saw the first customers using the outside seating for the cafe Mugs and Momos.
