14 lycanthropic Goodgymmers howled their way down to Wolves Lanes for a night packed full of fun and terrapuns.

This is Sparta!

It'd be churlish not to mention Latoya's amazing milestone again, since we partied late into the night tonight, celebrating her achievement. Can't wait for the next 300! <3

And a very warm welcome to Andreas who joined us for his maiden howling session and took everything in good spirits. He made it to the pub afterwards so I trust we haven't scared him away!

Howl you doin?

After a short canter down from HQ, we arrived at the gates of Wolves Lane Centre feeling positively excited at the task ahead of us (and the chance to meet some lovely terrapins along the way).

The jury is still out on this, but Gramps had been entrusted with the keys to the gaff and he proceeded to make everyone wait at the gates until he stumbled his way into a very dark and definitely-not-haunted Centre to put the lights on and carry out a quick risk assessment. Formalities out of the way, he welcomed everyone into the Centre - terrapin time!

Our 14 Goodgymmers made a bee line for the Palm House - a large greenhouse that houses tropical flora, plenty of fish, and a large bale of terrapins. The fish were very camera-hungry and offered the chance for a few cheeky selfies but the terrapins were tucked in for the night and, apart from one or two not-at-all-staged sightings, the night was mostly terrapin-free.

Undeterred, our Goodgymmers tackled the windows of one of the large greenhouses on the north part of the site. It was a bit dark and there are conflicting opinions as to the efficacy of our crew's cleaning prowess but lettuce say that by the time we finished, our presence in that greenhouse will definitely be noted by task-owners when they see the site in the morning.

We then retired to the restaurant area where Latoya was handed a card and badge to celebrate her 300th task earlier this month, and she regaled us with Goodgym stories ranging from the inspiring to the nappy-flying-through-the-air hair-raising. Hero.

Selfies here, air-kisses there, we all made our way into the night in search of food and beverages.

Howwwwwwwwl!

Join us next week for another new task, followed by a fun, track-based training session!

Signing off with my usual 'peace' seems a bit glib tonight, but, you know, war sucks. So fuck war.

Peace <3

This most definitely was one of the best task centres I have attended. Kew Gardens in Haringey. I cannot believe this exists. We were fine wipers. Not a smear or smudge in sight.
