5 fabulous GoodGymers headed to the Downham Fields/Durham Hill Tiny Forest as part of our campaign to save the wee trees from an increasing amount of weeds and grass.
We've even got plans to move a load of mulch over. More on that next time hopefully!

Two Goodgymmers ventured to Durham Hill Tiny Forest to identify butterflies, bees and various creepy crawlies. The bees were out in abundance, while the butterflies seemed to be late risers. Must be the Bank holiday! We also did a spot of weeding, as the grass has gotten a bit rampant. Check out the Bromley session listings for the next Tiny Forest task, on June 4th!

Nice to see some flowers there! Sounds like you had much better luck than in Cator Park 🐝

Tonight GoodGym was on a rescue mission.
One grassy and weedy Tiny Forest confronted us. Clearly it had been lacking a bit of TLC over its lifespan, but luckily we were on hand to rip it and strip it down to the mud.
We chose to tackle one small section which turned into quite a big section. And we made a massive pile of grass and weeds to show for it.
Nice one team!
First Tuesday of the month is now Tiny Forest day. See you next month!
Shout out to Andreas for the pun 🙌

Andreas completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Andreas was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.
