At last my 50th is in sight. If you would like to join me at Southsea parkrun to help me that would be great. Wear something Christmassy or spotty.

Oh the weather outside is frightful and discussion groups are spiteful
But parkrun I love you so
I'll be slow, I'll be slow, I'll be slow

My arms and legs are pumping
And my friends are simply barking
Oh Debbie we love you so, your jumpers glow jumpers glow jumpers glow!

When I finally get a PB,
"Holy Crap! Where's my stupid barcode!!"
but if I ask the RD.nicely
Please don't say no...Don't say no..Don't say no

On our first one I barely made it.
It's now my fiftieth I still will walk it.
It's This Saturday so... Wind don't blow...Wind don't blow... Wind don't BLOOOOOOOW 🎶

The parkrun course starts at Speakers Corner by Rocksby’s Café and heads east along the esplanade, passing under the canopy of South Parade Pier, turning shortly after the Royal Marine Barracks and returning via the same route.

New to GoodGym?

This is a GoodGym group run, where we run to help a local community organisation and then run back.

New runners are welcome to GoodGym group runs - no one gets left behind. You're unlikely to be alone, hundreds of new people sign up every week.

There's a place to leave bags and a toilet at the start point, all you need to do is bring your trainers. It's free to try - get involved!
