Who this task will support
St John the Divine
Community Church (grouped with St Matthaeus and St Mary's)

Our contact at Sky larks is also active in the church communities and has expressed the need for help to promote local churches in our areas and the services available

Normally this is picked up by those in the community already but many have been affected with lockdowns and self isolating so unable to get involved

The church is St John the Divine and is part of a group trio including the mighty St Matthias church which we have run past as we tackle the hills so many times.

The postcards that need delivering will be available at 10am from St John Divine (hence divine task)

It is on the corner of Church Road, next to Sovereign Gate office block. There is a car park in front.

The vicar - Fr Neil Summers will be there to hand them over.

The list of roads will be in each batch of cards, which are wrapped in a slip of paper and have the road name and number of doors on it.

All roads should be within a 5/ 10 min run from the church site so they say!

Approx 25 to 30 roads to be covered

The festive mission should you accept will mean a meet at the church - Look at roads and areas needed to be covered and then divide and conquer - BOOM mission accomplished and a nativity scene saved ; - )

Please on entering the church put a mask on to collect the postcards. There is a contactless hand sanitiser machine there too

How are you getting there?
