About North Meets South Big Local Big Local is an initiative in which 150 communities across England got funding to create lasting change in their areas that is designed to empower local voices and residents. New Meets South is a community group in Marks Gate (not far from Fairlop Waters/Little Heath in Redbridge) that is proactively improving their residents. Please read about their priorities here.
Event details This is a day for local community with stalls setup for local voluntary services, fun activities, local business and support resources.
TASK A couple of hours of helping with the marshalling at the event - this could include allocating food vouchers on entrance, advising people to socially distance as much as possible, maintain the sanitation points at the entrance and exit of the park and so on. If you can help for part of this slot, that'd be really appreciated as well.
On the day GoodGym will have their own stall to coordinate tasks, will have access to snacks and drinks.
