*And then there were tree, I mean three! *

Our weekly Wednesday visit to St Anthony’s Church and the Antz Kidz Activity Centre saw quite the formidable tree-o outside tending to their grounds, following the recent stormy weather.

This week we also met the church's new priest, Father Nathaniel, who had recently arrived to start his role after leaving his post at Northampton Cathedral. He was extremely pleased to hear about the work of Goodgym and said he felt blessed that we were here on the day of his arrival. I guess we made quite the sweeping statement!

For this task we divided up the work so we each had a designated role. To mine and Naomi's re-leaf, green-fingered Pam led on the weeding and cutting back of the plants, while we proved to be a couple of sweeping beauties as we took on opposite ends of the grounds. As you can see from the before and after pictures, you could not herb our enthusiasm! Transforming the area from a litter bit mossy, to absolutely radishing!

We hope to see(d) more of you next week!
