Ruskin Park Community Garden
Ruskin Park Community Garden encourages inner city gardening to reduce the carbon output involved in food production and transport. At their weekly dig days, people can learn how to grow veg by doing. Their ethos is sustainability – reduce, reuse recycle – and inclusiveness – we want garden users to reflect the diversity of the neighbourhood. Harvested food is shared among the gardeners at each dig.

This lovely little community garden who educate locals on growing veg and provide a space to do it would like a bunch of us to give them a hand at their regular gardening sessions.

Chris would LOVE some help with a current project to build a new sensory garden (for hospital patients and others to do gardening sessions).

Other Jobs might include:

🍂Sifting through compost 🌳Cutting back bushes 🌱Weeding in the fruit cage

They often have leftover veg to take home... 😏

Please bring gardening gloves! 🧤

We will meet at the Community Garden, which is near the Denmark Hill Station entrance to the park - here.
