The cobwebs of January Challenge have well and truly been blown away. It’s time for a new challenge, a personal one. Let’s get our fitness drive for 2020 on track, starting with a different parkrun.

Crosby is a less frequented parkrun for our gang but like a cold shower, burping or standing on stage, you feel better after doing it. Yes it’s windy but think of the smug factor not the chill factor. The Scandinavians call all this hygge, the good feeling and warmth after being out in the cold.

So if you are still not convinced, I can offer the first few interested a lift, I can promise you sand and in all likelihood we will seek out a cosy Crosby cafe after!

Crosby parkrun has the first 500m approx on the beach, it then moves onto the promenade and the return section is on grass. Parking is available on site. So go on, be brave, sign up!
