GoodGym is a wonderful initiative. It combines three of the most powerful ways of uplifting your own wellbeing โ exercising, socialising, and, above all, doing good for others

All of our tasks are fun, but this one really felt like we were having a clear and direct impact on those in need, and whilst packing the bags we could literally imagine a child opening their bag on Christmas Day.

Welcome to WWF x GoodGymโs Workout for Nature
Throughout April WWF and GoodGym are collaborating on hundreds of sessions to celebrate Earth Day. Each session will involve a Workout for Nature - a physical volunteering activity which will benefit local green spaces, and give your own wellbeing a boost. Simply sign up below and come along. No experience required!
The Friends of Horsenden Hill host regular sessions at Horsenden Farm with a range of conservation, gardening, veg growing, and site maintenance tasks.
No prior experience needed - all the instructions and tools will be provided!
The volunteering session coincides with the tap day on the farm to keep everyone's energy levels up. From 12pm you can treat yourself to freshly brewed draft beer at the on-site nano brewery ๐บ or lots of non-alcoholic options ๐ฅค, pizzas baked in the clay oven ๐ or other sweet and savoury treats from the bakery!
You can join us for a short walk to an afternoon task on the same day if you want.
โ๏ธ What is the task?
Gardening can be unpredictable. Depending on the weather, the tasks may include:
๐ When?
๐ Where?
๐งค What to bring?
๐ป Facilities

GoodGym is a community of people that get fit by doing good. We run, walk and cycle to do practical tasks for community organisations and isolated older people.
