At GoodGym Norwich we help our local community by doing good. We meet at The Forum at 6.15pm every Monday, start with a warm-up and then run as a group to each week's physical task. We'll arrive back around 8pm after a little fitness session ;-)
This week takes us on a 3.5km each-way run and we're visiting the Norwich Foodbank to sort through donations.
Our runs are suitable for all abilities and we ensure no-one gets left behind.
We have a baggage storage area at the start location.
Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.
Injury or harm may be caused to yourself or others around you heavy objects are dropped on feet or hands or harm may be caused if you lift heavy objects incorrectly.
Injury caused by working close to each other
This is a GoodGym group run. You'll meet other GoodGymers at the start location and run to the task together. If you can't run for more than 15 minutes without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact your area activator Ian Gostling by email at iangostling@goodgym.org.
The total distance of this group run is 7km.
Remember that we will be running to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.
I'm the Area Activator for GoodGym Norwich. I love running and socialising with the GG family.
There's space to change and leave bags and toilets. We're not planning to do anything purposefully dangerous, but GoodGym takes no responsibility for your safety during group runs, you participate at your own risk. Participants accept full responsibility for items stored at The Forum, and The Forum and GoodGym will not be held liable for any losses or damages

Group run cancellation Following extensive research, consultation with our trustees and work on how GoodGym as a community can play a positive role during the Coronavirus outbreak we have reached the conclusion to make extensive changes to our operations. **All group runs will stop for the foreseeable future** This decision has been made as these are the events at which most people gather and at which we are most at risk of spreading infection. We will continue to update this page with our most up to date guidance: https://www.goodgym.org/stories/coronavirus-information-for-goodgym-activities
