For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!
On Friday 18th April (Good Friday bank holiday) GoodGym will be supporting the Friday Night Lights Couch to 50k festival at Battersea Park. There will be lots of tasks to be done from setting up a gazebo, collecting donated shoes to be recycled, supporting festival games and even a bit of running if you'd like. It should be a really fun day!
By signing up you'll also get access to the Festival for the day, chill out with the music and entertainment, and access some of the runs happening.
GoodGym is likely to be on site from 10am - 5pm so we've split the day into 2 sessions.
This listing is for session 2, from 1.30pm - 5pm. There is another session from 10am - 1.30pm. You can sign up to that one here.
Limited spaces to please just sign up if you can definitely make it
Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.
This is a GoodGym community mission. When we're doing a community mission we make our own way to the task, so you can choose to walk, run, or cycle. Thinking of cycling - check out our FAQs

Hi! New to this community. Can I just check if we can also join the 5k or 10k run event in between helping with the tasks? So there’s extra race kit or something?

I would also be interested to know this.

Hi both, we are currently chatting with FNL about this. You can definitely join the 5k run that is happening at 6pm. The 10k is at 3.30pm and we'll confirm ASAP whether people can join that. If you do then it's prob better signing up for the morning session of volunteering as that ends at 1.30pm: https://www.goodgym.org/v3/sessions/goodgym-at-the-friday-night-lights-festival-morning-session

Due to injury I can't run at the moment so happy to help / cover if that will mean others can run.
