Tracey and I were happy to take the baton for the final shift from Katie and Vicky. Tracey held fort at the top of the escalator whilst I caught people as they came up the stairs. The fire service team did their magic downstairs. People were happy to take a leaflet and a steady flow of donations came in. One man said he didn't like needles - i explained we wanted him to donate food not blood! I can see how a red tabbard with Donate Today on could have confused him :) We finished at 5 but as i left Leanne (from the foodbank) was still taking donations - a happy sight to see.
