On a rainy Friday night in South London, eight GoodGymers met up for a social with a difference.

On International Transgender Day of Visibility, Dulwich Hamlets, a local football team hosted not one but two charity games. Each game had 30 minutes halves with a five minute break.

The first game was Dulwich Hamlets Women's versus TRUK United's all-female team. It was a closer match than last year where TRUK United lost 8-0. This time, a early penalty in the first half, split the teams.

The second game had more goals. The Dulwich Hamlets Supporters Trust played against TRUK United's all-male team. This was the first time in Europe, an all-male trans team took to the field. The Supporters Trust were leading 3-0 at half time before they started scoring for fun and getting booed in the process for not giving the all-male team a chance. At 7-0 with a few minutes to spare, the all-male trans team got a free kick close to the penalty box. As like it was meant to be, the free kick hit the bottom end of the crossbar before going in. The stadium went wild in celebration as this consultation goal meant so much more.

Despite the rainy and cold weather, it was a social with a difference in all aspects. Thank you to everyone who showed up ☺️
