An uncharacteristically calm and dry evening greeted GoodGym Bristol in Queen Square, no longer underwater as it had been with the weekend's storms.

A bit of chat and warming up before the run over to Brunswick Cemetery, one of our favourite spaces, for more spiral finding and general weeding along with our special surprise guest, Sam from BCfm, our community radio station. who'd heard about us and wanted to hear what it's really like. Jer had popped over from GoodGym Bath to see how we do Run Leading and group runs in Bristol, too - organised chaos at times!

We soon set to work finding more of the not-very-secret-because-it's-on-Google-maps spiral hidden under the grass and relocating the turf to the bits that should have grass but don't. Full on recycling in the park.

The weeds are already growing so there was sticky bud pulling in the big flowerbed, too, whilst Jo from the Friends group said how much positive feedback they've been getting from passers-by, everyone appreciating the improvements the care and attention is making.

We're looking forward to seeing the progress in daylight - we always think we've left it tidy, in the dark!
