With the summer holidays now here, Featherstone school has been helping out the families of the pupils with a pop-up foodbank.

With the scorching weather today, we both opted for indoors jobs, as the sun was far too strong! We helped with directing families to the boxes that had been pre-sorted for them, stocked full of the tins, packets and boxes of food that had been donated, including some donations from GoodGymers.

With all the families who came today leaving with their bags full, we gave the stores a quick tidy and were on our way!
