Block or report Kaz Podstolski

Lambeth Report written by Yianny (he / him)
We were back at Papa's last night to help out tidying up around the place!
The evening started well with a couple of returning faces after a long time away with both Emily and Charlotte joining us, it was lovely to have you both back!
We changed up our introduction routine by having a story caterpillar - where each runner adds a sentence to the runner before - and in the end we ended up with a tale of exploding bikes, giant peaches filled with cookie balls, stubbed toes and getting stuck in traffic, what a day.
After a quick couple of kms loop we arrived back at Papa's to discover new locks on the gates meaning AA Yianny didn't have the new combination but we were able to get in to get our tools via the netball courts and a few phone calls later and all was sorted - including letting out a couple who had been marooned in the park :0)
Joined now by Marie-Noelle and Paul we set to work clearing along the railings and litter picking to spruce the place up and we also brought out the hand lamps for the first time - fare thee well British summer.....
Thanks to all and see you at the next one.

Kaz Podstolski logged their first training run with GoodGym.
Oh yes. Kaz is training. This is how the greatest atheletes on earth are made. Kaz is making it happen. They logged their first training run on the GoodGym site; extraordinary things are sure to follow.

Looks like summer is coming to a close after such a short time but still a bumper group of GGers turned out to head over and help Juan out prepare Jubilee Primary for the new school term!
Pre-run discussion took in preparations for marathons and half marathons of our runners so a huge wish of Good Luck to Tilly, Michael and Joao as they head ever closer to race days.
To stay on theme our category for this evening is favourite nursery rhyme (wheels on the bus is the answer btw!)
It's almost exactly 1.5kms (flat) to Jubilee Primary so we made good time and had a bit of a wait while someone came to open up for us but we were able to get cracking with our hands as the planter was on the outside of the school. We were also joined by Marie-Noelle and Paul who walked to the session.
Once the very kind lady cam to open so we could access the tools we found that they were all children's size and of course nothing sharp but still useful and of course plenty of black bags to put the waste into.
There was a lot of greenery to get through and of course plenty of litter but in the 45 minutes we had the whole thing was cleared and is now ready to be re-planted.
A big thank you to all and a reminder that next week we will be meeting directly at the task in West Norwood so please don't come to Papa's Park beforehand.
