Southlands Community Garden

Developing a community garden for the benefit of Planet Food Customers and local people
To provide a small, safe community garden, that both provides a place to meet with others, for outdoor community activities, for childrens groups that use the church, and a place to grow food, herbs and flowers for the Planet Food Waste food cafe that, as well as preventing food going to landfill, and providing low cost food to those on the breadline serves as a meeting point, community forming centre in our community . The space will also be used by our artists in residence for community artwork displays and projects.

27 GoodGymers have supported Southlands Community Garden with 2 tasks.
