I’ve been a good gym member for over a year now and am relocating to Cambridge!
A few of us came together for some gentle exercise and a chat . It was suggested to try a morning or evening session of exercises. Maybe something worth trying in the weeks ahead. The starting point is the commitment to come to your mat - that's all the commitment that is required. Great to hear John has fully recovered from Covid. Sorry we couldnt hear you Abi.

Join a zoom call at 7pm for twenty minutes of fitness ( warm up / Short hit session warm down) have your favourite music at the ready) OR join at 7.20 for a chat. I promise not to do my broom trick! ( unless the demand is overwhelming)
My Jack Russell puppy Florence has asked if I can run a mission that she can help with, as she wants to get some good deeds of her own. As she is excellent at finding litter I have decided to set up this plogging session at Highgate woods. It would be good if any other GoodGym dogs can join us but they are not obligatory.
We will meet near the gypsy gate entrance on Muswell Hill Road. Due to current restrictions you will need to bring your own gloves and litter picker if you have one.
Fifteen intrepid explorers braved the wilderness to hunt down exotic animals in the remote district of Barnet (mostly). It's a dangerous journey north if you want to explore this region of London but alone and isolated these risk taking runners hit the jungles and savanna's with their fully charged weapons (well camera phones). Strava instigated, they found some extraordinary sites and had to endure great hardship. ( well if you call 21° and slight wind difficult conditions) The photos are Exhibited above and a committee was formed to judge the winners on a social zoom call. Judge for yourself. The committee recommend the following for distinction. Please give them a shout out! ... and all the others.
Your next Goodgym Barnet challenge is to name your favourite running song. Hopefully not too taxing but please test out on a run. (I ￼appreciate this is often a person preference but it will be interesting to see if we have ￼commonalities.) One of my favourites is Mr Blue sky by ELO I thought it fast paced and I felt uplifted by the lyrics. Could you sign up here and share with all the goodgym community. May be a picture of the song cover or a video of you running to the music? (on Whats App or comments here) I’ll report back to you in a week with the results.
