The recent storms have created a wall of seaweed on Tipner shore, and with it lots of plastics, rope, fishing line, lumps of wood and rusty metal.
Well done to Dave, Sam, Katie L and her crew for tackling the rubbish after Junior Parkrun (and before another GG Mission for Dave!)
3 bags full collected.

We certainly enjoyed the best part of the day at Eastney juniors this morning - the rain stayed away until all the little munchkins had finished their runs.
Aoife kept an eye on the whole course whilst she tail-walked with Aida, whilst Judy, Sam and Katie helped keep runners on course at some of the marshal spots. Dave showed his time-keeping expertise, whilst I did what I do best - making lots of noise as the Run Director. Always one for modesty, I even gave myself a shout-out for my 250th parkrun volunteer this morning.

16 hardy Friends of Nore Barn Woods braved the chill morning to clear the main path adjacent to the wood (which will form part of the new King Charles III Coast path).
We raked, lopped, trimmed and wheeled away countless barrows-full, to ensure easy walking through this well-loved local woodland.
Val was the Refreshments-monitor this month, keeping the volunteers fed and watered.
Thu 29th Jan at 6:15pm
