First visit to OXFAM Fulham tonight and what a lovely, super-organised shop! 😍 We were welcomed in and got straight to work on the floors.

Matthew and I teamed up as the Floor Dream Team 💪🧹. I took the hoover round to get all the dust and fluff, while Matthew went in with the mop to tackle the scuff marks. By the end the whole shop was gleaming — you could practically see your reflection in it!

It was also great to meet Sarah, the shop manager. She showed us how they sort and organise all the donations, and it was really impressive to see the system behind the scenes. Makes you appreciate every item on the rails even more.

Well done to everyone who came! Thanks to OXFAM Fulham for having us for our first time — we’ll definitely be back.

Back at the Tiny Forest for Earthwatch tonight and wow — the weeds had gone full jungle mode. Some of them were nearly 5ft tall after just a month! 🌿 That sun has really been doing its thing.

The focus was gardening, but the ground was super dry so every weed put up a fight. We got in there and did our best to clear what we could, but it was tough going. The soil needs some love and water for sure.

We didn’t get it all, but we made a start. This Tiny Forest definitely needs a bit more work next time to get it back on track.

Big well done to everyone who came out and battled the heat and the weeds. Small forest, big effort! 💪

This week's task at the Masbro Centre sounded simple enough: put up some shelving. Easy... right? 😅

We were handed our first box with optimism, only to open it and discover... four sheets of plywood. 🤔 Not quite the shelving extravaganza we'd been expecting!

Cue a mini detective mission 🕵️‍♀️🕵️‍♂️ as we searched the building to solve the mystery of the missing shelving. After checking cupboards and storage spaces, success! 🎉 Hidden away in the sports cupboard were five flat-packed shelving units patiently waiting for their moment.

With the correct box finally located, it was time to get building. Armed with a mallet 🔨, a hammer 🛠️, plenty of determination 💪, and the perfect construction team of two gentlemen and a lady 👷‍♂️👷‍♂️👷‍♀️, we set to work.

As it turns out, assembling one of these shelving units isn't exactly a speed event! After just over an hour of tapping, hammering, slotting pieces together, and carefully fitting the plywood shelves into place, we proudly stood back to admire... one fully assembled shelving unit! 🎉👏

Our brand-new shelving has now been safely stored, ready for its permanent home in the sports cupboard. With four more flat-packs waiting in the wings, we've set ourselves up perfectly for next month's return, where we'll be aiming to beat our current tally of one shelf per evening! 😄
