On a beautiful sunny Saturday, we had an extra group run in partnership with the Southsea Fitness Festival. Welcome to Aaron, Cristina and Rosina on their first GoodGym runs - hope to see you in Fratton on a Wednesday night soon!

We had a very short run from our gazebo out to join Southsea Beachwatch for their beach clean - it was all about the partnerships today! We collected small bits of plastic, old chip forks, crisp packets, a sock and a pair of pants (eeewww!). This contributed to the 39kg of waste collected altogether by the beach cleaners today.

After the clean, we headed back into Castle Field via the bandstand for a few nasty hill reps and then via the water supply on to a very nice post-run yoga session from LANO yoga - definitely a good way to end our session.

There are loads of photos on our Facebook page, I only chose a few for the run report! Thanks to Sianne for the additional photos :)

Look forward to seeing you all again at a group run soon.... On Wednesday (which just happens to be Global Running Day) we are off to St Judes to finish what we started: gardening at the Lodge. If you haven't signed up already, here's the link
