On a cloudy afternoon in West Ealing, Sheriff Sevan gathered his 4 deputies for a round up of bandits and detritus from the streets. One of the Sheriff's deputies Gen had put the call out to him to come help the residents of West Ealing reclaim their streets and when the Sheriff and his team arrived, they saw the chaos that presented itself.

Each of the deputies mounted their litter picker and galloped into the back streets not knowing what they'd discover and the perils that awaited them. The dangers that the intrepid group found included:

  1. Blocked drains which flooded the roads (Fixed: ✅)
  2. Dodgy guttering which fired water towards them (Dodged: ☔)
  3. A kamikaze cyclist who nearly took Deputy Harvey out of action (Apologised to: 🚶__🚴)
  4. A human poo outside someone's house (Left well alone: 💩)

Luckily we survived these traps and the crooks who'd laid them for us. We went on to strike gold, clearing up 4 large bags of litter including:

  1. An artificial Xmas tree that was left on the street for "real tree" collection
  2. The insides of a - suspected burner - phone
  3. A sodden pair of jeans in the middle of the road
  4. Many, many pairs of black socks in an alleyway
  5. A pair of fluffy pink slippers

The deputies and Sheriff left the badlands happy with their endeavours. They'd achieved the warm fuzzy feeling that the Sheriff had promised his amigos on such a cold, grey day. To top up their sense of satisfaction, they then headed to a local saloon for coffee and cake.

For the next episode of Sheriff Sevan, tune in next week at the same time.

Editor's Note

In the past I was an infamous outcast of no use to my community. Today Sheriff Sevan showed me who's in charge of the town! He led his team to clear the streets of West Ealing and leave no scum behind. They were so efficient that I ran away with other outlaws and hid in the alleyways, but Sheriff Sevan shot me with his litter picker! The treacherous crooks left me behind with no escape route and at the mercy of the Sheriff's crew. Sheriff Sevan could have sentenced me to be suffocated with a council waste bag but instead, he has forgiven me and invited me to celebrate his 200 good deeds with his team. He has done a ton to help the local community gardens, parks, schools, and older people who could not cope with their gardens, shopping or heavy furniture. I was impressed by his actions, goodwill and patience, so I joined the good cause as one of his deputies.
