Seven GoodGymers met at their regular spot at Old Cottage Cafe at 10:30am for the scheduled monthly litter pick. We split into groups of two or three and then headed off out into the park with our trusty litter pickers and bin liners.

There never looks like there is much litter in the park, at first glance, but when we got going we were amazed at what we found. Discarded bottles of water, scraps of food, crisp packets and bottles and at one point we even picked up a dead pigeon along the way!

All in all, with the sun shining and the warm weather, it felt like a job well done and the we left the park feeling pretty satisfied that it was cleaner than when we arrived. This made us feel good as we headed on home and went on with our day.
