9 keen GGers turned out on a cold crisp evening to help Jenny from the council clear vegetation from the garden at one of the sheltered housing locations. Quickly put to work, Abigail and Vicky looked to be getting rid of some major frustrations with the mattock - but it worked. Somewhere in the undergrowth an egg was soon found (hence the poor mission name !). Also a skull until someone pointed out it was a roast chicken carcass ! Still some work to be done there so we may be back but a lot of vegetation was successfully cleared in order to make way for a seating area and with buy in from a couple of the residents hopefully it will get looked after. Finally half of us retired for quick refreshments and lived to fight another day
