Mowing Underground

Mr J was cautious with who he let into his house. It came with the territory as an underground dealer in gardening tools. Luckily Kash and Sevan had an appointment and credentials. When Mr J opened the door a crack, they flashed their black, professional GoodGym t-shirts which granted them access.

Once inside, Kash and Sevan saw some of the wares that Mr J traded in. The more common equipment was on show in the kitchen, your electric lawnmower, trowels and secateurs. They needed to gain Mr J's trust so first asked for a test drive of what was on show.

Trowel Test

Mr J showed them to his back garden where the long grass and weeds made a good test bed. Sevan was impressed with the versatility of the trowel which was sturdy and manoeuvrable, meaning that he could easily weed between the paving slabs. He made a mental note to put in an order in for these.

Mowing Underground

The recent rain had made cutting the grass harder and Kash, on the other hand found that the mower wasn't up to her professional standards. It did cut, but got blocked easily and left the grass longer than she'd like. This was not an upgrade to Kash and Sevan's gardening tool collection, so they would pass on it.

Secret S******

Sevan went inside to ask Mr J about his "special" tool assortment. Mr J lifted the cloth on the dining table and pointed underneath. "These are my other tools," he said. Sevan took one of them, one whose name cannot be disclosed and gave it to Kash to test out. It got the thumbs up. Mr J only had a display model at the moment though, so it would need to be back ordered.

Sayonara Slice

As the GoodGymers were wrapping up their testing, Sevan spotted a cluster of bindweed growing over the fence from a neighbour's garden. Well, it would be rude not to give Mr J's secateurs a whirl too. They were a fine piece of machinery and sliced though the vines in no time at all. Another tool to add to the shopping list.

Order and Order

Mr J was happy to receive Kash and Sevan's requested tool list and with the unexpected tidying of his garden. The order was put on account and will be paid in unmarked notes when Kash and Sevan next pass through Lambeth.
