Mission

Ivy League

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Portsmouth.

Mrs E had some pesky ivy growing high up in her courtyard garden. As she's unable to get up a ladder it was GoodGym to the rescue as we did battle with the ivy that was determinedly growing up the wall.

We also cleared the weeds in the flower beds and pot plants and then did a bit of clearing around the back entrance to the house too... Including more ivy taming.

We then helped her look through her airing cupboard and consolidate her Christmas decorations which resulted in us taking a sparkly Christmas tree round to the charity shop.

After sorting out her phone charger we left her house and headed back to our own in the lovely afternoon sun.

Mrs E was very grateful telling us as we left:

"you're great, it's like a real life fairy tale"
