On this lovely sunny evening four runners ran and cycled to St Andrew's Church in Hove to help with the overgrown graveyard. Davidtook up the strimming role, and made such progress he needed a second battery! Tabitha took up the lawn mower, making the grave areas much easier to see. Tabithaand I cleared a lot of the never ending ivy off the trees and walls, and removed the grass from flowerbeds. We also worked with another friendly volunteer from the Church called Cricket who is a regular sea swimmer. Very brave I thought. Between us we made a real difference with this task.
