HIIT me with your rhythm stick
16 runners ran on a training session in Wandsworth.

Today we knocked out a midday high intensity session followed by a core workout, ticking off all the major muscle groups and very much earning our lunch!
We started with four rounds of four minutes, alternating between two different exercises each time and finishing with those dreaded burpees! The good thing about these kind of exercises is that although they're really tough and get our heart rates going, they only last for 20 seconds at a time so you can give it everything.
We then moved onto eight different core exercises. With all the ab work we're doing we're going to come out of lockdown with cores of steel! Well done everybody. As always, I'm here for you for any fitness issues until group runs come back so let me know if you need anything or want to work on anything in particular.
