6 GG Yorkies arrived at Hartrigg Oaks on a sunny Tuesday evening and as usual we were greeted by the lovely Jenny, keeper of the magical fob.

We went inside, met the rest of the residents who were joining us and made our introductions. Since it was such a sunny evening the decision was made to make the most of it and head outside to enjoy the fresh air.

With their chariots ready to roll and everyone sitting comfortably we each paired up, knocked off the brakes and rolled out for our mid-spring adventure.

It was a pleasure getting to hear about the residents' lives, their hobbies, interests and love of the outdoors including previous running and cycling experience. We explored the many gardens and allotments before heading back with everyone keen to go for another spin soon.
